October Month in Review 2012

First, I would like to say thank you to all who enjoy my blog. I am sorry I do post as often as I would like, but I hope you all continue to visit here. Secondly, I would like to start something new. I don't know if someone already has this idea. I started doing my weekly Filofax reviews, and I noticed Angela @ Paperlovestory wasn't too happy about this. I hope she doesn't think I "stole" her idea. I definitely don't want to copy her. I thought other people would like to see how I plan my life for the week, this is to give others ideas on how to use their planner. I am a big fan of Angela's posts so with respects to her and what she does, I have decided instead of doing a weekly review, I will start doing an end of the month review.

Here, I started using the mead inserts that I had bought from Target and with a suggested from one of my readers I cut them to fit.

I use the monthly calendar on two pages to keep track of my husband's schedule, mine, & my daughters. I don't really write in these spaces. I use color coded dots.

The week on two pages do have holes that cut part of the date out, but I am still able to see the number, and that is fine with me. There is still room to write. But I think I prefer the filofax pages. They have a bit more space. As you can see above, every things looks jammed and cramped.

I don't really have a use for this page other than to jot down some items I would need for shop lists/ groceries.

Here is the difference of the original size page and the the ones I've cut. There is a big difference here!

Here the have included a year calendar which I like. Re-punching did not take away from any of it.

Now I can see my dividers! It is not blocking the other dividers anymore.

Here is it again, UNCUT! Not good at all. *thumbs down*

I will keep using these inserts until the end of December. Then, I will move into my Finchley which will have the WO2P in cotton cream.

  1. It's unfortunate you can't do a week in review segment. Why can't you do these again? :)

Anyway, I love seeing the weekly reviews on other peoples blogs and on Flickr. They motivate me to continue using my planner. Your Holborn is lovely, by the way. I just got mine this past weekend and I'm in LOVE with it.

  2. Hi Jennifer!

A reader from Finland here :)

I think you should continue with your weekly reviews if YOU wish to. Nobody can claim that kind of idea as solely theirs, let alone "forbid" other people from doing it, and make them feel bad about it. It's hardly copying :)

And I, too love your Holborn. I use a mustard Finchley at the moment, and I'm very happy with it. :)
