Hawaii Vacation Part.1

Hi everyone! I'm sorry it has been a while since my last blog post. Some of you know I went on vacation to Hawaii for a week for my cousin's wedding. I had a wonderful time staying with family, and relaxing on the beach, but I am glad to be back home. If you don't follow me on Twitter or Instagram here are a few photos from my trip. I will have new blog posts coming soon! So be on the look out...

Our first stop from the airport was Liliha Bakery - Famous for their Coco Puffs (as seen on the right)
The day consisted of getting settled in and un-packing. Meeting with family we haven't seen in a while.
For dinner, we went to the popular Genki Sushi Restaurant
and finished off going to Foodland (Supermarket) to see how the price of Poke went up from $8 - $14 in four years.

If you don't know what Poke is, it is a Hawaiian salad-type crusine, which typically consists of cubed raw ʻahi (tuna)
marinated with salt, soy sauce, seaweed, and chilli pepper.

The next day we went on a roap trip to Northshore. We ate at Romy's Shrimp Truck.

We had their popular dish - #1 Butter & Garlic Sautéed shrimp. Alongside "the best poke on the island" from Kahuku Superette & washed down with Hawaiian Sun Lilikoi Passion Fruit Juice.
For dessert - Pineapple chunks with Li Hing Mui

Then it was off to the beach - Waimea Bay

After all the beach fun, we stopped by Aokis for some Shave Ice.

For dinner: we had a family barbecue =)

The next day we went to my cousin's wedding dress rehersal. After, we all headed to Kabuki for dinner and met more family, mainly my cousin from Italy.

After, we stopped by The Honolulu City Lights and was able to catch
Leonard's Malasadamobile Wagon for their famous Malasadas

Then, it was WEDDING DAY!!!
Here I am with my family.
