Keep Calm and Be Strong

This is very hard for me to share with you all, but I want to because I have inspired all of you, and in turn you also have inspired me. I will need all the support I can to get through this difficult time in my life.
Unfortunately, I received some horrible news yesterday. The hospital has decided to stop offering it's services and I am being laid-off. I feel so overwhelmed right now, and just trying to take it one day at a time. There are a lot of things I need to figure out and and deal with, so I'm sorry if I won't be posting as much. Thank you all again for being such great fans of my work.

Also, if you are on Facebook, you can now like "MyPurpleyLife".
I have been getting so many friend requests that I made a fan page instead. This helps me manage my Facebook better and be able to better communicate with all of you and for you to communicate with me. I will be posting on there as well as my blog.

I hope you will all continue to be loyal fans and continue to follow me.

Thank you.

  4. Sorry to hear this Jennifer, but I've been there myself in 2004 after nearly 30 years service I was made redundant at the age of 46. I took some time out to think about what I wanted to do and also to look for a new job.

The change in the end was for the better in some ways, I missed my old job and my colleagues that had also lost their jobs. But in the end things worked out ok.

I've followed your example of the fan page on FB... likewise I was getting lots of friend requests!
