Keep Calm and Carry On

This is regards to my post about  Filofax! You broke my heart!

I feel some people are going overboard here, and taking it way too seriously. I didn't mean for this to seem like this is the end of my world. Yes, I understand there are far worse things in life.
This is just about a Filofax and I'm over it!

I am shocked at the response, but I do apologize for any one who felt wronged or offended by my thoughts. This was not my intention. I do live in a country where I have the freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of thought and freedom of press. All I was merely doing was just trying to speak about my feelings over this little situation. I'm even laughing over it now.
But in all seriousness, this blog is just sharing my life and my experiences, and not meant to cause any problems. I don't expect everyone to like or agree with what I have to say. So, if you don't then you are welcome to choose never to read this blog again.

  3. I think some people took it a little too seriously. :) I posted this on the post with the Holborn, but I figured I'd make sure you'd seen it. I just wanted to know if it was still available for sale? I'd like to buy it if it is.

    1. On the other hand it was those criticising the critics who chose to post anonymously. Still, a good air-clearing exercise. Everyone has exercised their right to free speech and we can move on. For my part I intended to poke a little light-hearted fun at the melodrama. I had and have no wish to hurt the writer of this excellent blog.

    2. If I was a coward then I would have posted anoymonously, I wouldn't say anything online that I wouldn't say in person. If I offended then I apologise, sometimes it's good to be reminded that there are worse things happening around the world when things don't seem to be going your way, it's something I'm trying to think about recently when I'm feeling sorry for myself over something that in the sceme of things isn't life or death. Keep up your good work, your blog is great!! :-)

    3. Member of the Purple Sisterhood - RIGHT ON!!! Just because you have a bad day and have a dream destroyed doesn't mean you do not appreciate what others go through. When others comment they really need to re read what they have written and think about the other person's feelings. XXXXXXXXXXX You are a wonderful person!! Keep Smiling!!!! :)

  5. Yeah I couldn't figure out what the big deal was or why people online feel the need to 'preach' to others from their high horse. It's like when someone in Michigan complains about our weather and right away if you complain about the rain someone has to hurry up and say 'well, it could be worse, it could be snow'. Sure, and it could be a tornado too. But maybe today I just feel like complaining about the rain. Sometimes I think 'common sense' has gone by the wayside in the face of 'political correctness'. I have literally had dozens of people ask why I don't have a blog or that I should start a blog and to be honest...this is why I don't have one. I don't have the patience. I would probably get in lots of trouble with some of the comments. LOL (Besides, I enjoy visiting other people's blogs, like yours!) Keep smiling!
