Today I am sharing with you all a tutorial on how to store washi tapes. This is great if you don't have very many or are just starting out.
Supplies used in this tutorial: An empty saran wrap/plastic wrap/ press & seal/ aluminum foil box.
(Use a box with the cutter-edge on the bottom vs. the top) Wrapping paper Scissors
Razor blade
Self-healing mat Ruler Pencil Double sided tape Ranger - Glossy Accents Glue  Transparent Plastic Sheet
Packaging tape/washi tape
1. Remove the tube and cutter-edge, you will need to save them for later. Remove the lid/ cover.
2. Use wrapping paper and wrap the box, making sure you have a little bit to cover part of the insides as well. Make sure to wrap the lid as well.
3. Use double sided tape to keep the wrapping paper in place.
4.  Create a window on the lid. Draw a rectangle using your ruler, in the middle of the lid, to your desired width, or to the with of a transparent plastic sheet.

Filofax Organisers for Men

I thought I would give my opinion on what Filofax organisers, I think, are great for men to use.  I have gotten questions from women who want to get one for their spouse, and even from men who are interested in Filofax.
I have shown some of these organisers on a video here:

Now to go more into depth of what these organisers look like.  There are many different models/types of Filofax organisers. Men can use them for business, work, at home, for personal use, journaling, a food diary/tracker, and whatever they chose.  There are a variety of choices to chose from, leather, non-leather, and different sizes to suite one's needs.
The first Filofax I mentioned in my video is the Pocket size Chocolate Brown Sketch

The next Filofax I mentioned was the Pocket Grey Malden  The Pocket Malden has the full width wallet pocket which can serve as a place to put cash, receipts, etc. in. **Not all Pocket size Filofax Organisers have this feature** [To find out what Pocket organisers do: CLICK …

"You need to associate with people that inspires you, people that challenge you to rise higher, people that makes you better. Your destiny is too important to understand those people who suck the life out of you. Ignore those people who create their own drama, they crave for it and they deserve the outcome. Don't waste your valuable time with people that are not adding to your growth. Simplify your life by not giving a f!@# anymore. After all, life isn't about pleasing everybody. Update with My Purpley Life - July 26, 2013

Hello everyone!
If you are new, and have just found my blog! Welcome!  I know most of you have been waiting patiently for me to do a video/ blogpost on how I am using my A5 Filofax. I am still trying to figure things out. I am still in limbo between three different organisers. So, when I get more settled in, I will definitely do an update video/ blogpost on what I'm currently using and my set-ups.
As a mother of two, a devoted wife, and job hunting, it can be very challenging to devote time to blogging, making/editing videos, taking pictures, etc.  I just try the best I can, and I hope you all can appreciate the time and effort I put into making posts and videos for everyone. So, I thank you all for being patient with me!
Here is some of the the stuff I have been working on, and will hope to post soon. If you have any other questions or requests, please let me know via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and of course HERE!  I will still do my weekly decoration videos, and …

“Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It’s quite simple, really. Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn’t at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it, So go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that’s where you will find success.”

This week I am still trying to move into my A5 organiser. I have been figuring…

Not my best work I think. I had trouble with this one, as I showed on my decorating video.
But hey, no one's perfect!

And with that, I would like to address something with everyone.

If you read this blog or have watched my videos, you know that I recently had some issues with a gift I received from my sister, "The Original" Patent Purple Personal Filofax organiser, which had bad rings.

The issue is very near and dear to my heart because, as most of you know, I have been very loyal to the…

Washi Tape Wednesday #2

Today for Washi Tape Wednesday, I wanted to share with you all how I spice up gift wrapping with washi tape.
I love creating these plain gift bags and gift tags into something more personalized for someone, by using their favorite colors, favorite patterns, etc.

Washi tape come in a variety of colors and patterns that you can almost find exactly what you are looking for?

Maybe you know a sports enthusiast. Someone who loves vintage items. Someone who loves hello kitty, polka dots, or flowers. Someone who loves the color purple as shown below.

Maybe you are having a party, do you have a specific theme?  Use washi tape to embellish giveaways and thank you gifts.
Another example here from: http://homeandgarden.craftgossip.com/
I hope you all have enjoyed these ideas!
