Last Post: My Filofax Week #52

This will be my last "my week" blog post 2013. If you have been following me for a while, then you will know that this year, I have been going through some personal issues. Being unemployed for the past 9 months has been really depressing for me. This month in particular has been the worst I haven't ever felt in my life, this nonstop feeling of being rushed. I have found myself caught in the grip of mental stresses of doubt, expectations, social comparison, anger, disappointment, blame, resentment, and fear. I loved making videos for you all. Creating my blog, and YouTube was meant to help relieve my stress, but even that has now been overwhelmed for me. I don't think it is fair for all my followers that I was being inconsistent, which I felt I was. I wasn't following my scheduling, and wasn't posting as much as I wanted to. I was feeling this way for a while now, but I wanted to finish 2013. I have much bigger problems that I need to face and put more attention to. I feel that I need time to recollect myself and have some time for reflection. I'm trying to regain my positive thinking and just be thankful for what I do have.

I thank you for your unconditional support throughout the year. For all your messages of encouragement and praise. Thanks to all of you who continue to mention me in your videos or blogs. I appreciate the credit and the recognition. Thank you for your feedback and criticism. It has helped develop My Purpley Life into what it has become.

As stated on Facebok, Twitter, and Instagram.
"My Purpley Life will be on hiatus. I have decided that I will not be doing anymore decoration videos until further notice. I will also no longer be posting my weekly pages onto my blog. My blog and YouTube will remain open for reference, and I may be doing some review posts here and there. I will continue to be a presence in the Philofaxy community and will keep this page open for anyone who would like to ask me any Filofax, beauty, crafty, organizational questions. You are still welcome to message me or email me as well. Thank you. Wishing you all the best for 2014. "

  2. I can empathize with you as I was in the same position at the end of 2012. I hope the new year brings you much joy, happiness and peace of mind and heart. As a new follower, I do have a quick question. Where can I find the paper trimmer you use in this video? I've searched high and low and can't seem to find it. I love that the blade guard lifts up and you can cut things like washi tape. Thanks for all you do!

  12. Jennifer, Take care of YOU! I totally feel your words, we all go through really rough times in life, and honestly, what you are doing is really the best thing to do. Take care of you, your health, your family, personal issues, etc. I seriously have been thru it all, and the best thing, or what really has worked for me, has been to stop and regroup and get your focus back on what matters. I very much enjoy your posts, your videos, etc. They have been very helpful to me. But I very much understand and hope that you will put Jennifer first, and then you can take on the rest. Take care! -Theresa
