Month in Review - January 2015

Here is a look at my decorated pages for the month of January. I wanted to share the difference between decorated pages in a ring bound planner versus a spiral bound planner such as an Erin Condren. I previously posted my review about the Erin Condren Life Planner. There is a big size difference between that planner and this planner here by Webster's Pages called the Color Crush Planner. I have been using the color Classic White. You can see how I am able to utilize the smaller space being able to plan just as much information as in the Erin Condren Life Planner.

I am very used to these pages as they are a similar layout to what I was using previously. It is also has a similar design to Filofax Personal size Week on Two Pages Diary in Cotton Cream and Kate Spade inserts. The great thing about these inserts is that there are equal spaces for each day. Some inserts only offer a small space for weekend days. For someone like me, who needs more space to write on the weekends, this is a great layout. These inserts also offer addition writing space on the top left for extra notes. I personally use this space to write motivational quotes and inspiration. It is also a great place to do some journaling if you do not have a separate journal or notebook for this. This space is also great to keep a chores list or to list important to-dos that when you may not know which specific day you will get them done, but want to get done sometime that week.

I hope that by sharing my pages with you,  it will give you some ideas on how to use your planner in a creative yet functional matter. Please check my YouTube channel for tutorials on how I decorate my planner pages. I would love to see how you decorate your pages!
