I love being able to change the way my planner looks. I don't want to be stuck with pre-decorated styles and colors. Here I used the Clear Sticker Project Paper #4383 to create my own type of washi tape/ masking tape. For those of who do not know what that is, it is a decorative tape, usually made out of thin paper and can be found at your local craft store. Using images I found from the internet I was able to create a more personalized look for my planner. Studies have shown that making things aesthetically pleasing to the eye can increase happiness and boost productivity.
I simply printed the design and cut them to size. I also cut out some of the images to create my own stickers. The great thing about this sticker paper is that it is repositionable and removable, just like washi tape. If I decide that I need more writing room, I can simply remove the sticker without damaging my planner.
Another product I use in my planner is the White Round Candy Labels #41568. Not only are they the perfect size to use for party favors, but they are great for labeling reoccurring tasks and events. Instead of taking time to write them down each day/ week, placing a sticker makes it easier for me to be more productive. You can create your own personalized stickers using Avery Design & Print which I did here to mark my work days. It's a free program which has tons of design templates to choose from such as the icons used here. There are all kinds of designs and images that you can use to create your own customized stickers.
I also used my favorite planner stamps to color customize it to my needs. These labels are also removable, making it easy to make changes, because we all know, life doesn't always go as planned.
